Job description
Main Purpose:
The role of the Campus Pastor is to serve as the primary leader to move forward the mission and vision of Destiny Temple, and create structure to handle future growth at their appointed campus. The Campus Pastor has responsibility and authority for discipling and mobilising the campus teams for effective vision and ministry at the campus.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee the appointed campus location as an extension site of Destiny Temple by reproducing the vision and spiritual/cultural “DNA” of the church.
2. Develop a vision and strategy to reach the community by impacting people of all ages to become disciples of Christ.
3. Create a healthy leadership strategy and structure that accomplishes the recruitment and raising up of leaders who oversee areas of the campus’ ministries.
4. Lead and grow the leadership and volunteer team at the appointed campus to carry out effective ministry that impacts the congregation, the community, and the world.
5. Collaborate with ministry directors at the Central campus to reproduce ministries at their appointed campus (children’s ministry, worship team, small groups, etc.).
6. Serve as a consistent presence and campus “host” on Sundays and the primary preacher/teacher for weekend services when video teaching is not used.
7. Accountable for stewardship over the campus budget.
8. Oversee and assist in the preparation and execution of all weekend service elements for the campus to accomplish a high level of excellence for the Sunday worship experience.

B. Academic
· GCSE/ High School credits
· Diploma or certificate in Biblical studies
C. Spiritual
· Destiny Temple is a Christian faith organisation and some responsibilities involved in this role include leading prayers, preaching and teaching biblical principles and beliefs, therefore one must be a born again and bible believing Christian.
· Biblical understanding and committed to a prayerful life
· Have Christian morals and conduct.
D. Experience
a. Have at least three years ministry experience
b. Able to supervise and lead teams

E. Others
a. Teachable, friendly, and able to connect with the church members and the community.
b. Responsible and doesn’t require supervision all the time to do their work.

· Give at least 10% of your income toward the mission and vision of Destiny Temple.
· Be loyal to the vision and staff of Destiny Temple and always protect the unity of the church.
· Demonstrate a Christ-like attitude through all interactions with congregation, staff, and volunteers.
· Invest and invite the lost to know Jesus and come to Destiny Temple.
Key Performance Indicators
The strategy of the ministries that the Campus Pastor leads reflect the overall growth strategy of the church:
1. Develop disciples and leaders.
2. Serve, engage and invite the community.
3. Grow Destiny Connect Groups who help others grow in faith.
The Campus Pastor will be evaluated on the following three metrics:
1. Build volunteer leadership team to 25 members.
· Identify and onboard 25 new volunteer leaders.
· Develop a strategy and process to implement a call for volunteer leaders into weekend services.
· Plan interest events and create training materials for volunteer leaders that encourage commitment, consistency, and servant hearts.
2. Grow campus giving by 15% by 2021
· Study giving data for the campus to identify opportunities to increase giving.
· Establish an appropriate time and way to encourage giving in weekend services and highlight various giving tools.
3. Increase campus attendance by 10% by the end of the year.
· Equip and encourage the campus congregation to invite.
· Plan and participate in outreach initiatives that welcome the community and invite newcomers to attend and connect.
Position
This is a full-time, salaried position around 37 hours a week, with four days spent in the office and one day of flexible working location.
