Role overview
Implement marketing campaigns for JD aligned to brand vision and strategy. Oversee development of assets with agility, delivering campaigns on time and on budget, ensuring smooth flow of information and comms across all relevant stakeholders, partners and departments.
What you will be responsible for:
- Support the Senior Marketing Campaign Manager on developing and implementing the annual JD brand campaigns approach, aligned to the marketing vision and direction, aligned to business requirements.
- Collaborate with the department and markets to develop & deliver a campaign calendar, critical path and milestones – ensuring all key campaign timings and product stories are captured, kept up-to-date and aligned with other key marketing activity.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders across the business such as Markets, Buying Merchandising, MC, Studio, Creative, Retail, VM etc to ensure that everyone has information in a timely manner to be able to input. Feedback, review, prepare and cascade brief as needed.
- Lead on the day-to-day management and delivery of the current campaign assets, using a keen attention to detail to review artwork.
- Oversee the work of internal and external agencies that will deliver the campaign activity. Attending production as required and leading regular status calls.
- Define & agree campaign budgets, objectives and KPIs with Senior Marketing Campaign Manager and ensure approval of senior stakeholders including Directors of Regional Marketing and Group Marketing Director
- Work with the cross functional team to Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns
- Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including web analysis and evaluation of KPIs.
- Work within budget flagging issues and overspend
- Work with colleagues to agree channel and media plan with all stakeholders and cascade to relevant teams
- Create clear, concise campaign briefs and communicate to relevant stakeholders across the business in advance, work on ways to include feedback and requirements e.g. Buying , Merchandising, MC, VM, Markets etc
- Ensure accuracy of campaign assets & materials from concept to deliver and work to facilitate sign of by the relevant stakeholders /director
- Project manage campaigns from concept through to completion. Ensure completed campaigns are measured and reported against agreed objectives and KPIs with insights, learnings and recommendations included as standard
- Regular field research to review campaign effectiveness and competitor activity

- Comfortable creating briefs for elements relating to marketing activity and overseeing the development of these assets from start to finish
- Creativity and commercial awareness with proven ability manage campaign budgets in detail
- Fluent English written & speak / additional languages an advantage
- Strong working knowledge and desire to deliver market relevant omnichannel marketing campaigns
- Awareness of retail and retail marketing as well as digital
- A team player, Problem solver, Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to be mobile to travel for shoots/production/work meetings etc
- Interest in sneaker culture, sports, music, fashion & youth culture is an advantage
