The Opportunity
What you will do
- Identify new opportunities via direct customer interaction to develop an own your own pipeline of opportunities
- Establish business opportunities via indirect but complimentary routes to market, such as non-traditional partners
- Ensure the business in a position to access commercial opportunities via customers chosen procurement routes
- Obtain implicit and explicit customer requirements and define USPs and win themes
- Build customer relationships, new and existing Creation of new opportunities in the market place/exploiting current opportunities
- Capture & Bid management – work with the Bid Management team to ensure business winning proposals are created Responsible for commercial offerings
- Work with the technical teams to drive detailed and scrutinised cost estimating to ensure price optimisation
- Producing & presenting sales information in front of customers utilising the entire Cyber and Physical Security portfolio of products and Services
- Support events and corporate exhibitions
- Work transnationally within the division and across the divisions of Leonardo
- Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to the business
What we are looking for
- A solid understanding of The Security of Network & Information Systems Regulations (NIS Regulations)
- Demonstrable experience of relevant experience in sales in CNI, Transport & Border Security Solutions
- Entrepreneurial attitude and can do approach with a tenacious drive to provide customers with excellent value based solutions
- Strong communicational skills, you have a creative and efficient approach to building professional client relationships
- Culturally astute and able to work across different cross cultural business practices
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of the business winning team Experience in working within an international professional environment, preferably a project organisation
- Ability to travel for work
- An ability to work and converse with credibility in a technical environment
- Strong analytical skills, the ability to use your logistic skills in analysing and understanding customer processes, creating concept solutions
- Good language skills in English, both verbal and written. Italian would be useful, but is not mandatory
