Job description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Digital Campaign Manager to join our agency. As the Digital Campaign Manager, your role will be to steer and execute our global digital marketing strategy. You will take the lead in the digital campaign planning process across various digital marketing channels, providing support throughout all stages, from strategic planning to execution. With a deep understanding of the impact of digital campaigns, the successful candidate will be responsible for continuously improving our client projects.

This exciting new position is pivotal to our planned business expansion; the successful candidate must be innovative, passionate, adaptable, and a catalyst for change. You will be expected to drive the long-term strategic priorities while maintaining oversight of day-to-day activities. Your accountability will lie in our digital marketing campaign planning, where you'll craft strategies that engage prospects and delight our clients. We are looking for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. This position has the potential to grow into a Director role as the business expands.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional customer service to establish trust as a valued advisor.
  • Employ innovative thinking to address client business challenges, proposing solutions in new business proposals and for existing clients.
  • Devise and implement campaigns aligned with client objectives, achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Assume a leadership role in managing client relationships, serving as their primary contact on a day-to-day basis.
  • Present comprehensive and insightful performance reports to clients, utilizing tools like Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.
  • Conduct research and analyse data to formulate campaign strategies and optimizations.
  • Create and oversee advertising campaigns across diverse channels, including SEO, PPC, and Paid Social.
  • Coordinate and manage web projects encompassing tracking, analytics, web design, or web development.
  • Implement industry-standard best practices in paid media campaigns, encompassing Paid Search and Paid Social, while guiding creative strategies and composing ad copy.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, regularly providing clients with reports and data-driven suggestions for optimization.
  • Continuously optimize ad accounts to achieve optimal results for clients, considering performance across various channels.
  • Efficiently manage budgets and pacing to ensure cost-effective utilization of client resources.
  • Supervise the digital marketing calendar and uphold quality standards for digital campaigns.
  • Rigorously manage and measure all marketing campaigns and tactics, establishing metrics to gauge their effectiveness and attain specific conversion goals.
  • Collaborate with external contractors or team members to devise innovative campaign strategies that foster engagement and enhance brand awareness.
  • Lead external contractors supporting client campaigns.
  • Contribute to the agency's growth and structure by assisting in recruitment, training, and upskilling of the wider team.
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices, sharing knowledge with both the team and clients.
  • Maintain an expert understanding of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and platform advancements, offering strategic recommendations accordingly.
  • Take ownership of planning and executing digital projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of results.
  • As a member of a small team, the ideal candidate should be willing to assist in other areas of the business.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in overseeing digital campaigns, with a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes.
  • Profound understanding of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, and other social media advertising tools.
  • Possession of relevant certifications in digital marketing, such as Google Ads or Facebook Blueprint, will be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing and sales funnels, lead generation, and best practices for customer acquisition.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data strategically.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex ideas to clients, external contractors, or team members.
  • Capacity to collaborate in a fast-paced environment while simultaneously managing multiple projects.
  • Enthusiasm for digital media marketing, with a strong inclination to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Previous experience in team management is preferred.
  • Skill in prioritizing tasks within a fast-paced setting, delivering solutions even in the face of unexpected challenges and demanding business requirements.
  • Developed and implemented digital marketing strategies across biddable technologies, paid media, social media, SEO, and affiliate marketing.
  • Successfully led and nurtured a campaign marketing team.
  • Demonstrates a proactive and "can-do" attitude.
  • Adaptable, seamlessly transitioning between tasks and objectives, from high-level strategy to supporting the team with day-to-day execution.
  • Strong dedication to customer experience and a constant drive to improve our offerings.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to independently solve problems proactively.
  • Leadership skills to guide, influence, and coach others in delivering results-driven, high-quality work.
  • Effective delegation to the wider team and willingness to offer support when needed.
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities to ensure swift and comprehensive reporting.
  • Collaboration with various external partners to prioritize and identify business and workstream objectives.

Remuneration:

  • £55K OTE
  • Commission on any new business you bring in
