We’re looking for a passionate Insight Analyst to join the Data Science and Analytics team supporting our Clinical Trials projects in our Nottingham head office.

About the role
A successful candidate would partner with other members of the Clinical Trial team members to deliver actionable insights from real-world, clinical and other data sources to support biopharmaceutical RWE and clinical trial requests. Potential efforts include analysis of unmet needs (safe and effective therapy in certain disease states), treatment patterns and healthcare/economic burden data to support budget impact modelling and cost effectiveness modelling

Your role will involve analysing data from multiple sources to:
- Mining raw data sets to deliver standardized, analysis-ready patient cohorts from in house data assets or online licensed platforms
- Generating hypotheses and analysing data to test and interpret results standardized in close collaboration with the value and outcomes research and patient/market access team
- Help shape the analytics strategy as well as performing data mining and statistical analysis to analyse real world data and real-world evidence to find new insights regarding patient populations and treatment outcomes
- Applying cutting-edge advanced analytics methodologies and tools to address scientific questions from biopharmaceutical companies.
- Collaborate on design and execution of outcomes research studies from our data science and analytics preserve, producing rigorous and interpretable deliverables
What you'll need to have
- Relevant previous experience or a degree with strong quantitative elements (i.e. includes statistics modules), such as Maths, Physics, Geography, Psychology
- Ability to translate business questions into analytical problems, using available data to develop a scalable solution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you will be presenting complex results to less technical audiences
- Strong attention to detail
- The drive to proactively investigate potential problems
- Ability to organise own workload, often balancing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously
- Confidence talking to others and building rapport. Working effectively with our media agency, external suppliers and marketing teams is a key part of the role
- Proficiency in a coding language such as SQL, R, Python etc.
- Degree in Pharma/Bio med or related
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI
- Experience of targeting, optimisation or measurement of marketing activity, using Adobe campaign or similar
- Experience using relational databases
- Demonstrable record of delivering results in a commercial environment.
- Expertise in working with large structured and unstructured data sets
- Examples of where you have automated business processes
