Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking and dynamic individual to be our Health Care Support worker in our ADHD Post Diagnosis Team within our Neurodevelopmental Pathway in CAMH's.
The service is community and family focussed providing assessment, intervention, advice, and support to children with ADHD which may be accompanied with, autism, learning difficulties or emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Support children, young people and families with ADHD and complex needs through, one to one and group work under supervision of qualified staff.
Undertake health observations of height, weight, and blood pressure and complete relevant record keeping.
Be able to work in a variety of settings such as school, home and group settings
Undertake behavioural observations with supervision
Provide and receive information from young people and their families, NHS, education and social care colleagues and the voluntary sector
Organise own diary and workload in line with job plan, have the ability to be able to adapt and prioritise.
Have a can-do attitude, sense of humour and adhere to the Trust's Values.
