About the Programme
- Based in Cambridge
- 2 weeks to 3 weeks employee contract during 6 August – 26th August
- To work with our Chinese student groups - age 13-20
- Our company Education Gateway, in partnership with Cambridge Education providers, have jointly run this high profile educational and cultural programme for over 15 years.
- The programme is well established, successfully combining English language study, academic study, social events, cultural visits and guided tours.
- The Chinese students are very pleasant and enthusiastic to work with and are keen on learning.
- The students will be in Cambridge University accommodation.
Job Description
- To help and assist students to make the most of the programme and achieve a positive and enjoyable learning experience
- To work closely with our education providers to ensure the smooth running of each of our student group programmes
- To lead and guide the student afternoon social activities and as well as weekend visits to historic cities including London, Oxford, Bath, York, Windsor and Stratford-upon-Avon
Applicant Requirements
- Teachers, University students and Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- You need to be enthusiastic about international education and cultural exchange. Previous experience of working with student groups and summer programmes would be an advantage.
- You need to be confident, a good communicator, outgoing and show good leadership skills.
- Language required is English, although Chinese is a benefit.
- A good knowledge of Cambridge to lead and guide the group is required. Working knowledge in the above historical cities for the excursions is also needed. You will need to be able to give an informative tour of the historic and cultural sights there.
