Our menu includes a range of CHAI to carter all tastes and desires along with a choices of mouthwatering street food snacks from South Asia .
We’re looking for someone to join our exciting and diversified team.
Duties:
- Welcome customers by determining their interests and needs.
- Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee/tea drink menu; answering questions.
- Prepares and sells drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for every item.
- Prepares and sells food and snacks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for every item including use of oven, grill, fryer etc.
- Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
- Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking chai latte/ coffee/ tea brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and brownies for the tea bar.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
- Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and tea bar.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading, retail trade, and food service publications; maintaining personal networks.
- Enhances the cafes reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Salary: From £9.50 per hour
