About Us:
The Black Diamond Café is a vibrant and bustling café located in the heart of Northampton Nestled within the Black Diamond Entertainment Venue (which is due to open in October)and attached to Vintage Retreat vintage emporium, we are committed to providing exceptional food and beverages in a welcoming and enjoyable environment. Our café is a hub for both locals and visitors alike, offering a diverse menu and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Café Staff to join our team. As a Café Staff member, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding service and contributing to the overall success of The Black Diamond Café.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and food items in accordance with café standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by attending to the needs of our valued guests.
- Maintain a clean and organised café environment, including tables, counters, and dining areas.
- Handle cash and process customer transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and food handling protocols.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a café or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Additional Opportunities:
In addition to your regular café hours, there may be opportunities to work in The Black Diamond Entertainment Venue for special events and functions. These additional hours offer a chance to be part of an exciting and dynamic entertainment team.

Part-time hours: 15-40 per week
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
