Origin8 Cafes & Catering are looking for an experienced cafe assistant for our Cafe in Peterborough. The Cafe Assitant will assist with the preparation and serving of cold food in a busy and lively cafe setting, as well as maintaining a clean, sanitary work enviroment. The ideal candidate is friendly, efficient and has experience dealing with a wide range of customers.

Responsibilites:

• Receive and serve cafe customers, take orders, and give out food and drinks.
• Preparation of cold food.
• Operating coffee machines and other equipment.
• Clearing plates and cutlery from tables to prepare for incoming customers.
• Follow standard operating procedures regarding cafe safety.
• Be able to work under pressure.
• Have good social skills with colleagues, customers and suppliers.

This role is working 5 days, over the 7 day week (including weekends).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.18-£10.42 per hour
