About us
Builder’s Brew is a LEGO cafe, where people of all ages can come to build LEGO, while enjoying a drink and something to eat.
We’re looking for some amazing people to join our Builder’s Crew, ideally you will:
- Have experience working in a cafe, hospitality or retail role
- Like LEGO
- Be as comfortable interacting with 4 year olds as you are with 24 or 74 year olds
- Have great customer service skills
- Be a team player

You will be an active part of the day-to-day running of the cafe. Typical tasks will include:
- Setting up before the cafe opens
- Greeting guests and showing them to their table
- Helping guests with their LEGO build if they get a bit stuck
- Making drinks and serving food
- Taking responsibility for maintaining excellent food hygiene standards
- Clearing tables and getting them ready for the next set of guests
- Operating the dishwashers to maintain a steady flow of clean dishes
- Taking your turn on the cleaning rota to make sure the facilities are always clean
- Disassembling LEGO sets ready to be built again
- Helping clear up when the cafe closes
- Sharing your ideas (LEGO or cafe related) to help us make Builder’s Brew an amazing experience for everyone
Standard cafe opening times will be:
- Monday to Friday: 18:00 - 22:00
- Saturday to Sunday: 10:00 - 22:00
During school holidays, cafe opening times will be:
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 - 18:00
- Saturday to Sunday: 10:00 - 22:00
You will have regular working hours, although some degree of flexibility will be required.
Job details:
- Salary: From £10.90 per hour
- 28 days annual leave (or pro-rata equivalent)
- You’ll be paid during lunch breaks
- Free hot drinks and 50% off food
- Full-time and part-time roles available
- Permanent, subject to passing 1 month probationary period
