Node Scaffold Design is a temporary works consultancy based in London. We specialise in design and analysis of scaffold, hoists and mast climbing work platforms. Our Aim is to be the Scaffolders Designers by working with our clients, at every stage, to provide designs that focus on all aspects of build efficiency and safety.
Since our inception in 2018 we have continued to grow our team, improve our software and update our processes to always stay one step ahead of the competition. As we have improved how we work we have also improved the company, having grown substantially every year. With this growth we are now excited to be able to add a CAD Technician/Technical Draughtsman to our team to help fulfil the demand.
The role will be based in our Office Walthamstow office (E17, 10min walk from Walthamstow Central station) with the rest of our Design Team.
As our new Design Engineer your main focus will be working with our Principal Engineers and to primarily support our team of Design Engineers, producing 2D/3D designs using various CAD programs. Liaising with the internal team to ensure accurate design based on the brief provided.
Knowledge of the temporary works systems is advantageous however not required, as ongoing training will be provided to assist in working with the team, however the minimum requirements for the role would be:
- Knowledge of 2D/3D cad software i.e AutoCAD, BricsCAD, etc. for production of drawings.
- Strong communication skills, as a lot of work requires liaising with multiple team members.
Higher salary range can be reviewed for candidates with the following:
- HNC/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering, with knowledge of basic engineering principals for structural analysis.
Any candidate with proven experience in an engineering discipline, especially scaffold and/or temporary works, would be ideal. However, any candidate who has the basic requirements and is willing to learn and receive ongoing training during your employment is great.
Salary range: £26,000 - £32,000 varying by experience level.
