Trainee CAD Technician

Our Client based in the Yateley area is looking for a Trainee CAD Technician on a permanent basis for an immediate start.

The Package for Trainee CAD Technician:

• Salary of between £22,000 and £25,000 depending on experience
• 8:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime ,40 hours per week
• Permanent, full time role
• Parking on site available

The Role for Trainee CAD Technician:

• Our client is looking to recruit someone with demonstrable experience in product design, including mechanical and structural awareness
• Software knowledge should include Autocad, and Illustrator as well as general competency in all things IT.
• Your main role would include converting customer briefs into working drawings and machine files.
• You would need a good understanding of mechanical and structural knowledge which is essential as you will be providing details for manufacture

Trainee CAD Technician Responsibilities:

Responsible for design and creation of 2D and 3D technical manufacturing data including models and drawings, completing projects On-Time, within the project Budget, performing to high standards of Quality, whilst promoting and supporting continuous improvement within the Design Department.

Trainee CAD Technician Professional Experience and Skills:

• Training and support will be provided however previous experience using illustrator or sign packages is desirable. Being tech savvy is a must as you will be trained on different software.
