Job description
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual CAD Engineer to join our team. The Audio Visual CAD Engineer will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. They will work closely with our audiovisual design team to ensure that all drawings and designs meet client specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed drawings and designs using CAD software for audiovisual systems such as conference rooms, Cinema, and Residential Dwellings.
- Collaborate with audiovisual design team to ensure that all drawings and designs meet client specifications and industry standards
- Prepare and modify engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents for audiovisual systems
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed
- Verify dimensions, materials to be used, and quantities against project specifications • Participate in design review meetings to discuss and improve design concepts and specifications for audiovisual systems
- Maintain and organize project files and documentation • Communicate and collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors as necessary
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with CAD software for audiovisual systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software applications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the audiovisual or entertainment industry
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for audiovisual systems
- Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and technologies
- Experience with building information modeling (BIM)
- Experience with SketchUp or other 3D Model Software

Salary: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

- Ashford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
