CAM Programmer (Fusion)
Our client based on the outskirts of Coventry is looking for an experienced 3/4 Axis CAM Programmer. The ideal candidate will be able to programme Offline using Fusion software. Experience editing / programming online would be a bonus but not essential. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are also essential. The goal is to produce high quality parts and materials by programming machines to perform the right operations. Due to growth and investment in new machinery our client has a great opportunity to join their friendly and supportive team. Varied and interesting work. Low volume and prototype work, no day will be the same!
CAM Programmer (Fusion) Responsibilities
- Offline CAM programming using Fusion or Powermill software
- Editing programmes at the machine / online programming knowledge.
- Programme set and operate 3/4 Axis machines
- An understanding of CAD Models
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings
- Prepare and load materials and parts onto the machines
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
- Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements
CAM Programmer (Fusion) Salary-
- £17.50 per hour
- Overtime paid at x1.5
- Days Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:30pm / Lunch time finish Friday
- 33 days holiday
- Pension Scheme
