This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a role in construction.
We are currently looking for an office based CAD Operator to work alongside our director and consultants assisting with the preparation of initial design/construction issue drawings and developing as required through to as-built status.
Candidates must be familiar with AutoCAD with the ability to read architectural details.
Please note an AutoCAD test will be conducted during the interview process.
A Construction qualification or experience in the construction sector is a benefit but not essential. An installation, engineering or manufacturing mindset would be of benefit.
The role will involve assisting with the detailed development of specialist drylining construction packs, liaising with architects, contractors and installers to meet building regulations and site requirements.
This role is an integral part of our business, and as such the candidate will be required to get involved and become a team player within the office environment.
You will be able to work independently and demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Potentially, if desired, long term the role will have development opportunities within drylining for candidates who wish to progress their career within this sector.
Person specification
· AutoCAD 2D (essential)
· AutoCAD 3D/ BIM /Revit (preferred).
· Construction qualification (preferred)
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Strong team player with an energetic and proactive outlook.
· Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
· Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative.
· Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively.
· Effective communicator orally (in meetings) and in the written form.
· Self-motivated and ambitious.
· Experienced in use of Microsoft products including Excel, Word and Power Point.
· Full clean driving licence (essential)

We are a Drylining Consultancy based in an idyllic setting within Borden, Kent area working on both National and Local basis with major clients in the Construction Sector.

Experience:
- 2 years or minimum Level 3 in Computer Aided Design City & Guilds (Required)
There are three options available for this role.
Junior - £19,000.00-£24,000.00 per year - Only AutoCAD experience required.
Technician - £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year - Must have experience within construction or engineering.
Drylining - £28,000.00-£38,000.00 per year - Must have experience within drylining design.
