We are seeking a CAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD 2D plans and site layouts for small civil, mechnical & electrical construction projects.
Duties:
- Create detailed drawings and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Prepare site elevations and planning application drawings
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop new site designs and plans
- Modify existing designs based on iterative feedback from engineers and developers
- Ensure that all designs meet required specifications and standards
- Review and approve drawings created by other drafters or designers
Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD
- Knowledge of engineering principles and design techniques
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in relevant field
- At least 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in CAD software
- Ability to work remotely or in office setting (London, Sheffield, Coventry) and ability to travel occassionally to London for meetings with development team

Part-time hours: 10-40 per week
Salary: £28,800.00-£39,000.00 per year
