Job description

We are one of the leading high-end bedroom furniture manufacturers in the country based in Hampton, with a nationwide client base (although predominantly within the south of England). Our clients range from high-end homeowners to interior designers and builders/contractors.

We are looking for a CAD designer to produce detailed technical drawings and estimates with a high level of precision. This role requires a candidate who is also confident speaking to customers and providing excellent customer service, whilst working closely with the sales team to convert estimates into orders.

Please note this is an office-based role.

Salary: £22,000 - £23,000 (with the opportunity for target-based progression)

Role Requirements

• Ideally graduated with a 2:2 or above in a relevant design-based degree.
• Experience working with CAD software to create technical drawings or models.
• Confident talking on the telephone and providing good customer service.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Thorough, with great attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Process driven and able to use initiative where required.
• Good time management.
• A team player, with the ability to manage assigned tasks independently.
• Good spatial awareness within design would be beneficial but not essential.
