Role
Our client is looking for a talented CAE Engineer to join a small team of Multibody Simulation (MBS) Engineers to contribute into vehicle programmes to conduct CAE Analysis on the effects of movement and vibration within Chassis parts and components within an electrical new vehicle programme. This role is to conduct CAE modelling, analysis, and reporting, to meet pre-programme concept design, virtual series, and post final chassis programme requirements.
Duties and responsibilities
- You will be the technical specialist within the project’s energy management portfolio, where your role will be to support the organisation with the introduction of new energy management products and the investigation of more complex cases.
- The CAE engineer is responsible for delivering Multibody simulation (MBS) analysis results to support Virtual Series deliverables, and to solve issues throughout the program from concept through to production.
Skills and experience
- You have a technical degree (Bachelor or Master level) with working experience in electrical engineering and/or software.
- A strong communicator and a team-player with excellent organisational skills.
- Sound knowledge – Battery Electric Vehicle and its architecture
- Benchmarking – development of Fuel Economy and Acceleration performance attributes
- Technical expertise – vehicle energy usage, CAE simulation, systems engineering, data acquisition, and digital signal processing.
- You are self-reliant and able to proactively engage customers.
- You have an affinity with testing new systems and are not afraid of troubleshooting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
