Cad Joinery Setter out Position

We are looking to expand our staff to include a CAD joinery setter out to join our team and work form our factory based in Basildon Essex.

Main Responsibilities will include:

• Producing accurate high-end joinery/construction drawings from designer/architect drawings for client approvals and workshop production
• Production of Joiner related Working / Production Drawings for Manufacturing Purposes as well as drawings for designer / architect approvals.
• Organising the printing, collating, recording and monitoring of all drawings and related documents received for each project
• Ensuring drawings, supplier enquiries and order requisitions are produced and distributed in a timely manner

The ideal candidate must have the following skills and experience:

• Fully trained in 2D CAD with a minimum of 3 years experience as a setter out
• Previous experience in using Solid Works, Inventor or Sketch Up would be beneficial although not essential
• Previous experience as a joiner or site fixer would also be advantageous
• Be confident speaking with clients
• Work well as part of a team
• Ability to work calmly under pressure

The candidate should also:

• Have experience in carrying out site surveys
• Have excellent IT skills, familiar in using MS Office products
• Self-managed, motivated and hard working
• Be able to use their own initiative and have enthusiasm
• Be well organised, methodical and positive
• Able to excel operating in a fast paced commercial environment

CAD Designer – Joinery Production / Manufacturing

Salary Negotiable depending on current earnings and relevant experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
