CAD Designer
We are in the marine industry and are looking for a designer for pontoons, hydraulic trailers, houseboats etc.
Ideal person Local to Yeovil Area (somerset)
Duties:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD software
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop design concepts
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications for construction projects
- Review and modify existing designs to meet project requirements
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards and regulations
- Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and advancements
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project goals and requirements
Skills:
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design concepts
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings
- Ability to interpret and analyze complex design specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
