The post holder will be responsible for managing the Trust Capital, Estates & Facilities property database including receipt and filing of built/fitted drawings information, Health and safety Plans, Fire Strategy and compartmentation Plan and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals. The post holder will also be responsible for updating all record drawings as required & ensuring the MiCAD portal is kept up to date

1.1 Be proficient in the utilisation of AutoCAD/MiCAD and be able to develop, update, maintain computerised drawings and files for site and project records
1.2 Manage minor works projects, including conducting surveys, designing, writing specifications, preparing drawings, obtaining quotations, planning works and supervising works, keeping within time and budget constraints, and preparing reports as necessary
1.3 Assist in space planning exercises for facilities in accordance with HBN’, occupational HSE regulations.
1.4 Ensure works are carried out to programme and budget liaising with senior managers, design consultants and contractors
1.5 To act as the custodian for the Trusts CAD drawings and schematics
1.6 Remain proficient in the use CAD software and manage the user licenses across the Directorate.
1.7 Conducting simple surveys throughout the Trust in order to confirm detail/measurements for updating CAD documents.
1.8 Have a good working knowledge of software/applications such as AutoCAD, MICAD, Microsoft Office and databases.
1.9 Maintain and update building layouts along with all building services with information and records for fire compartmentation
1.10 Ensure compliance with Trust standing orders, financial instructions, and department administrative and financial procedures
1.11 Ensure compliance with building regulations, Health Building Notes, HTM and any other relevant bodies.
1.12 Undertake feasibility and planning exercises as part of the initial option appraisal process and prepare initial indicative capital costs.
1.13 Assist the Head of Property & Asset Management; Head of Capital Projects &Planning in preparing project briefing documents and developing the scope of works with SLaM Directors of Services.
1.14 Assist in Project management of minor works capital schemes from conception to completion, by confirming the full extent of the works with a range of contractors. Arrange site meetings and negotiate with the contractor the starting and finishing dates of the scheme to ensure that the scheme meets the client service requirements.
1.15 To provide support to the Head of Property and Asset Management, Head of Capital Projects, and Planning; Deputy Director of CEF in the delivery of the capital programme and in the strategic planning of the Trust estate.
