Avonline Networks operates as a Telecommunication Infrastructure Services Company and is part of the Telecom Division of M Group Services. We are specialists in building high-quality communication networks that connect millions of properties across the UK, from national fibre networks for voice and data services, to delivering the latest technology to multiple dwelling units.
We have a great opportunity for an experienced and qualified Network Cabling Operative in the South West (Bristol).
You will play a key role in the engineering team, helping build the core fibre network infrastructure.

Reporting to the Delivery Manager The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the telecommunications industry.
Working on the Gigaclear network with an Installation and PIA background would be preferred, but not essential. Full training will be given.
This a permanent role with a great salary/package.
What will your key responsibilities be?
- Comply with Health & Safety and environmental policies.
- Above and Underground PIA
- Fibre blowing. On both the local and trunk networks (12f - 288f)
- Rodding & Roping, Cable pulling.
- Deal with day to day issues and problem solving.
What competencies are we looking for?
- Experience working within the telecommunications industry. (preferred)
- Network Activations.
- PIA above and below ground SA001/SA002 & S7/S8 would be an advantage.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety NRSWA
- Ability to work with network plans/diagrams
- Self-Motivated.
- Good communication skills
