Your new role:
The role of Buyer at Häfele will own the commercial procurement activity for all products within the assigned product area. You will be responsible for delivering targeted cost savings within our international network of suppliers, whilst maintaining product quality and supplier commitments.
Working collaboratively with our Category and Inventory teams in the UK, and Procurement teams across Häfele World Wide, you will be responsible for:
· Sourcing activity
· Tendering existing business
· Negotiation of pricing, payment terms and rebates with suppliers
· CSR & supplier risk management
· Supplier relationship and performance management
· On-boarding of new suppliers

What you’ll need to succeed:
To be successful in this position you will:
· Have the ability to be self-motivated and work proactively as part of a team
· Passionate about delivering results and determined to exceed expectations
· Be a confident negotiator, able to influence to ensure best outcome
· Have excellent analytical / numerical skills and confident using Microsoft Excel
· Strong organisational skills, with ability to identify key tasks
· Ability to communicate at various levels and geographies
· Have the ability to recognise opportunities / challenges & suggest relevant / necessary actions
· Show respect and consideration for colleagues
· CIPS (desirable). We are keen to support personal development of employees through similar studies.
· Demonstrable years experience as a Buyer / Junior Buyer
