Job description
1. Manage a database of all of our suppliers and products & prices
2. Maintain a full knowledge of all products that we use within the company
3. Manage orders and stock levels with our suppliers
4. Work with other team members to value engineer contracts for clients.
5. Place orders and track them from time or order to point of delivery
6. Liaise with and update managers and site managers operatives with regards to delivery of materials
7. Build relationships with all suppliers
8. Research alternative products
9. Negotiate the supply and price of materials on both a collective and on an individual project basis.
10. Provide reports to senior management to indicate areas of cost savings and total spends in various areas
11. Although we do not have our own in-house logistics, you will be expected to have a good understanding of logistics and the ability to work with suppliers and external logistic companies as well as importing products from the EU to ensure delivery of material in good time and cost effectively.
12. To provide an office based back up for the site based project managers
13. Any other roles that might be required to help the company achieve what is necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £24,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
