Overview
2fawcett have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer in Coventry on a full time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities of the Buyer – Construction
- To carry out steel procurement activities (buying steel beams/girders, nuts and bolts etc) on a day-to-day basis, sourcing from various suppliers
- To negotiate cost and lead time reductions with suppliers where possible
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new suppliers
Requirement of the Buyer – Construction/Steel
- Good purchasing/buying experience, in a steelwork engineering/fabrication environment
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000.00 per year
