Buyer Assistant
99 Ranch Market is one of the largest Asian supermarket chains in the United States, with over 60 store locations in California, Nevada, Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia, and more! Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and process the daily requisitions and purchase orders to support store needs, including expedite orders.
- Respond to incoming phone calls and emails.
- Revise purchase orders and follow up on backorders, claims, and contracts.
- Process and organize the store, vendor, and buyer files related to purchases, shipments, and other aspects.
- Maintain purchase orders by updating delivery dates, prices, or other required supplier information.
- Communicate with stores, vendors, buyers, and distribution centers to ensure sufficient quantities, correct system pricing, and timely delivery.
- Keep supplier files up to date, including addresses, phone numbers, and overall contact information.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure on-time payments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Business Administration or related fields.
- 1+ years of administrative, retail operation, or related work experience.
- Excellent computer skills, familiar with Microsoft and Google office suites.
- Bilingual in English/Chinese is required
- Demonstrate high work ethic, confidentiality, excellent communication, and customer service skills.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Compensation:
The pay range for this job is between $19 and $22 per hour. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
