The Peninsula London is pleased to announce that we are seeking a Butler that will report to the Guest Experience Manager. This role is responsible for the complete guest journey for the theme suite guests, to ensure impeccable service, with a focus on a heartfelt welcome, weightless and waitless experiences, exceptional selections for each guest, the invisible touch and bespoke sense of home. We aim to ensure that all people feel like they belong and can have the ultimate experience, service with the personalised and attentive dedicated team to look after them.

Key Accountabilities
- The butler will be responsible for the guest journey for theme suites, from pre-arrival outreach to post departure communication, with a focus on the invisible touch and bespoke sense of home
- Take responsibility for daily operational challenges for the theme suite guests, including service recovery, continuous coverage, and efficient service delivery
- Co-ordinate with the Rooms Controller, Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure the theme suites are ready to be occupied and are maintained in excellent condition; ensures Suites are ready for guest arrival and all respective amenities are setup accordingly
- Establish close guest contact, manages guest feedback and ensures elevated services recovery to exceed guest expectations, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles
General requirements
- Experience and knowledge of hotel operations through a similar position, ideally to have a min of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role. (Front Office or Butler)
- Hospitality-related certification or alternative.
- Passion and appreciation of quality luxury hotel service with exceptional communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organization, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
- Flexibility and capability of working under pressure.
