Butchers Retail Assistant
_5 days per week
Monday – Saturday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
1 day per week off (TBC)_
J McRobb Butchers are looking for a passionate, highly motivated individual to join our team. This position will be based at our busy Standish store
Duties will include:
- Serving customers in a polite, professional, friendly, and helpful manner
- Providing advice and help to customers
- Preparing raw meat products to display to a high standard
- Keeping display counters & shelves well stocked at all times
- Stock control and rotation
- Maintaining a high level of hygiene throughout
Skills & Requirements:
- Have a proven history of delivering outstanding service in a similar, fast-paced environment.
- Have 2 or more years’ experience in a similar role.
- Have exceptional communication skills.
- Be passionate, friendly and proud of the food and other products that we sell.
- Have a welcoming and friendly approach & able to connect well with our customers.
- Be able and willing to work effectively as part of a team whilst maintaining our high standard of service at all times and ensuring our customers are the priority.
- Be eligible to work full time in the UK.
- Make sure that our standard of service remains high at all times, whilst being fast, friendly and knowledgeable.
In return, we will provide in-depth, on the job training including basic butchery allowing you to excel in your role with the view to progress within the company and develop your career.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
