Job description
We are a family run butchery based in the heart of the community in Bolton Lancashire.
Our business is currently looking for a skilled butcher, who can provide high quality services to our local customers. They should be able to lead and manage the daily running of the shop.
MAIN RESPONSIBILTIES
· Using the tools provided, being able to cut, grind and prepare meats for sale.
· Managing a sale through weighing and packaging in a professional manner.
· Washing the tools and surfaces to ensure cleanliness is maintained.
· Complete stock check and creating orders.
· Able to deal with suppliers and negotiate prices.
· Have a good understanding of health and safety throughout the workplace.
· Friendly customer service.
SKILL REQUIRED
· Experience as a halal butchers is essential for this role.
· Knowledge of cutting and preparation of halal meats and chicken.
· Excellent Customer Service skills
· Food safety and hygiene knowledge.
· Being able to travel to a fixed location of work and able to lift the products.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
· Knowledge of English/Urdu/Punjabi.
SALARY
· £26,200 per annum
