Business Support Officer
Grade or equivalent: £22,464 (pro rata for 21 hours equals £13,478.39)
Hours: 21 Hours per week/ 3 days must be flexible
Location: Manchester
Responsible to: Quality & Compliance Manager
Additional: Must be a driver and have use of a car for business purposes.
Role Purpose:
Working as an integral part of the Manchester team, you will work closely with the Quality & Compliance Manager. Working to support and create internal processes, managing the flow of both qualitative and quantitative data for accurate reporting. You will complete regular audits to ensure that quality standards are achieved. A large portion of your time will involve managing our referrals and supporting our employment team when onboarding new clients into service.
Core Responsibilities:
Business Support
· To attend initial meetings alongside our employment specialists and assist with onboarding new referrals into service.
· To respond to telephone and email enquiries about our service, supporting partners and individuals to be referred and signposting where appropriate.
· To implement processes to monitor and track both qualitative and quantitative data, across our service.
· To complete quality audits to ensure that standards of delivery meet the contractual expectations.
· To extract data and effectively report, giving suggestions with regards to implementing positive change to the way we work.
· To analyse reports identifying and flagging any data or quality and compliance errors and/ or areas of improvement.
· To comply with delivery standards, ensuring that all key performance indicators required by external funding streams are tracked and achieved within the correct timeframes.
Administration & IT
· To manage the referral inbox, ensuring that referrals are quickly responded to and booked in for an initial assessments.
· To manage spreadsheets in Excel to capture and track data accurately and effectively.
· To work with the business and IT team to extract data for contract reporting and specific queries.
· To link with the IT Team to ensure transition and smooth operation of the client software system, Eclipse.
· To manage the flow of information and communication; both incoming and outgoing of phone calls, emails, face to face queries and post.
· Word processing correspondence, reports, minuets of meetings and typing up flip charts to a high level of speed and accuracy and to agreed deadlines.
· To plan, organise and carry out any work to strict deadlines including the prioritisation of own workload in accordance with management instructions.
· Problem solving and good analytical skills.
· Proficiency in IT to keep and maintain accurate records through the use of the Eclipse database and relevant written documentation.
· Manage personal admin including outlook calendar, emails and timesheets.
· To work towards reporting deadlines as outlined by the Quality & Compliance Manager
Training
· Commitment to personal development and ongoing learning.
· Attend all mandatory Pure Innovations training.
Flexibility
· The post holder must be a driver and have use of a car which can be used for business purposes.
· You will be expected to attend mandatory meetings across Manchester.

· Ability to complete administration tasks with excellent attention to detail. whilst adhering to and meeting deadlines.

· Previous experience implementing systems to capture data effectively.
· Experience or knowledge of working with people who have disabilities and the barriers they may face when accessing employment.
Knowledge
· Confident in using/creating spreadsheets to track both qualitative and quantitative data for reporting purposes.
· Previous experience working in a Business Support role.
