An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Administrator to join our Waste Management Team in Skipton.
About the role
As a Business Support Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support across waste management service, including waste operations, waste management, commercial waste and waste technical services.
The role is working from Belle Vue Square, Skipton although there may also be a need to travel to different locations. The role will include data handling and input along with the need to draw system data into performance reports. You will deal with customer enquiries, helping them troubleshoot issues and managing customer accounts. Part of the role includes the maintenance of the financial and operational system that supports the commercial waste team. This will include maintaining trade waste agreements, processing variation orders and responding to customer enquiries. There will be a health and safety element to the role as you will be required to maintain the various risk assessments and work records.
You will need knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR), Equalities and Health and Safety requirements of working within an office environment.
What you will bring
To be successful in the role you will have excellent communication and customer care skills, be a well organised and flexible individual who has excellent ICT skills along with good literacy and numeracy.
You must be able to prioritise your workload to meet tight deadlines and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as effectively working as part of a team.
