Business Support Analyst
- Salary: £28k-£32k depending on experience + up to 10% annual company bonus scheme
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
- 80/20 homeworking policy in place (Up to 4 days at home)
About the role
Our Agency Network is at the heart of our business, with over 300 branches (internally known as Agencies) across the UK, they are our vital day-to-day link to our customers. Core to the success of our Agency Network is the support they receive from our other teams, one of those being our Agency Development Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an energetic and engaged team who work across multiple stakeholders to provide key information to meet business needs and support business change in the Agency Network.
As a Business Support Analyst (internally known as Agency Development Analyst), you’ll provide regional support and guidance to the Agency Management function by calculating and providing accurate financial information, to enable them to make appropriate recommendations and explore options for regional changes.
You’ll maintain and calculate Agency commission and charging processes in accordance with audit requirements, ensuring that Agency financial information is accurate and compliant. You may also complete calculation reviews of business plans and investment opportunities in our Agency Network. Another important part of your role is to escalate any identified risks and ensure they’re recorded accurately to ensure appropriate action is taken to minimise or mitigate the impact.
Further Key Responsibilities
You will be expected to undertake a wide variety of tasks including the following:
Maintain and provide regular and ad hoc, national and regional reports on Agency matters in order to ensure accurate information is readily available and accessible to appropriate individuals.- Provide guidance and support to Agency Managers on Agency processes to ensure that all processes are followed consistently and correctly.
- Assist with departmental projects and activities as required.
About you
You will use your experience in data to deliver insightful analysis, to identify trends, and to recommend improvements.
You’ll have experience of using data analytics/reporting tools and be very excel confident. You’ll thrive on investigation and analysis, as well as being able to communicate your findings to a non-technical audience.

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)- Strong IT skills to include Excel spreadsheet and data manipulation skills
- Ability to gather and analyse internal and external data from a wide range of sources.
- Ability to explain complex information in written and verbal form to financial and non-financial people.
