The Role:


Oxfam GB is looking for a Business Support Administration Assistant to provide the administrative support and coordination of the logistical and compliance elements required across Oxfam GB's direct engagement and events activity ensuring that tasks are delivered to time and within agreed standards. This role will also be the team Welcome Caller, providing quality second engagement over the phone to new supporters. Activity within this team consists of F2F Fundraising, Telemarketing, Festivals and Events.

An ideal candidate for the role will also have:


  • Good administrative and organisational skills, working to deadlines and at short notice
  • Competent using basic computer programmes (word, excel etc).
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly and carry them out precisely with a good attention to detail.
  • Some experience using reporting tools to enable the interpretation and presentation of data to identify positive and negative trends.
  • Excellent, personable verbal communication skills, able to provide quality, inspiring phone engagement.
  • Some knowledge of the direct engagement fundraising industry, including F2F/Telemarketing experience and related compliance considerations associated with F2F and Telemarketing fundraising.
