Are you a Data Consulting Manager who collaboratively finds business solutions and delivers them expertly?
Sopra Steria are recruiting for a Senior Consulting Manager to join our growing Private Sector consulting business. You will work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to identify, shape and sell data and analytics consulting opportunities. The role will also work with the UK business and Private Sector Digital Technology Consulting capability to set out and lead our data consulting strategy as well as working with our clients to help craft and drive value from their data.
This is a Hybrid-Variable role from our London Office, meaning you can work from home or the office as much or as little as you like. There will also be client site visits across the UK.
What you'll be doing:
- Bringing thought leadership and insight to identify and develop intelligent and innovative data and analytic solutions and business development opportunities, using the modern and innovative technologies.
- Working as a Trusted Advisor and will ‘think with’ clients to capture and craft data and analytics consulting opportunities, helping them re-imagine their future through an informed data strategy.
- Collaborating with specialist consultant and delivery colleagues, notably with our technical disciplines including our industry leading data scientists, and technicians from our analytics, data management and engineering practices as well as cloud and cyber, to deliver cohesive and comprehensive client consulting propositions and solutions where data is a fundamental enabler of business value.
- Supporting the successful delivery of large data programmes for clients in order to achieve revenue targets and high levels of customer happiness.
- Supporting the development of a market leading team of data consultants to deliver accelerated performance, growth and profit.
- Supporting the establishment of Sopra Steria as a global leader through participation in industry forums, events and social media.
- Developing and evolve consultancy frameworks and tools that allow for the identification of business challenges, deploying resolution strategies and which lead to tangible, repeatable solutions.
- Supporting a consulting-led culture by embracing innovative, highly ground-breaking technologies that deliver new ways of working in a digital world.
What you'll bring:
- Client facing Consulting/Business Development experience in a recognised consulting business.
- Experienced in consulting led business and opportunity development, specifically in the area of data strategy.
- Experience of building cases, notably in the context businesses needing to handle, coordinate, access and use their data effectively and efficiently as a corporate asset.
- Broad, deep and demonstrable expertise in many of the core recognised Data topic areas such as Data Strategy, Data Governance (including Data Ethics), Data Architecture, Data Modelling, Data Quality, Data Warehousing & Storage Management, Data Security, Reference and Master Data Management (including Metadata management), Data Integration, data science, AI/ML, big data, unstructured data or fast-streaming Event Processing analytics.
- Experience of identifying, developing and winning consulting and business development opportunities.
- Experience of delivering presentations of business and technical solutions to senior client executives in formal presentations, question and answer sessions and on reference visits.
- Commercial awareness through demonstrable understanding of well-kn own commercial models.
