Business Relationship Manager High Growth

As Barclays Business Relationship Manager High Growth, you will be required to build expertise and become a specialist in our products, policies and processes, so that you can support and deliver the right outcome for our customers in the right way. Consistently identify and provide appropriate and relevant business solutions, assist and provide expertise to help their client’s growth ambitions. Work closely with colleagues across the Business Banking team, and the wider Barclays Group, to ensure clients have access to the right expertise.

What will you be doing?
- Ensuring you identify and deliver on opportunities to make a lasting and meaningful contribution to their business and personal ambitions
- Building and developing deep relationships with customers, becoming trusted contacts for their banking needs
- Developing and maintaining relevant skills, knowledge and accreditations to meet specific client’s requirements in your market
- Developing key specialisms around products, services and client, as agreed with area leadership and assisted by the Business Banking knowledge framework
- Ensuring that you personally possess a clear understanding of the local market, customers and community and demonstrating effective use of time and resource
- Anticipating customer needs, delivering outcomes that exceed the customers’ expectations, including accountability of providing Lending solutions of up to £1M
- Being passionate about and commits to own in role development by continuously developing knowledge, skills and behavior using available tools and resources
- Acting as a business expert to ensure compliance with the banks KYC requirements, identify the correct approach, analyse information
What we’re looking for:
- Comprehensive knowledge of end to end lending process and achieve relevant accreditations
- Problem-solving, ability to listen carefully to customers and react quickly and thoughtfully to help propose solutions
- Self-starter, capable of operating without supervision
- Able to engage effectively, communicate clearly to build and develop mutually beneficial relationships with our customers, colleagues, partners and suppliers
Skills that will help you in the role:
- IFS: ACIB, PCertB, Cert BB&C, DipBB&C or Omega Credit Skills Development
- (CSD) is preferable or you can demonstrate a desire to commence
- Professional study and work towards completion of IFS Diploma of Business Banking or Omega Credit Skills Development (CSD) within 12 months of starting in role
