Role: Business Relationship Management Manager
Circa Salary: £51,000 per annum
Location: Homebased
Contract/Hours: Permanent, Full Time – 35 hours a week – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

About the role
You will professionally represent the Technology Department and nurture relations across the charity, ensuring strategic alignment between Technology and other functions, including our childrens services, so that objectives can be realised, and staff and management can effectively implement and upscale technical business works and activities.
What you will be doing:
- Provide leadership, management and direction to the IT Business Relationship Management Team.
- Establish and build relationships with key departmental stakeholders to proactively plan and manage throughout to the team and Technology department, identifying requirements and delivery of solutions that are consistent with the IT strategy and procedures and to support business case creation.
- Manage the delivery of the organisation's revenue generating pipeline, through timely assessments and requirements gathering for tenders, ensuring regular communication and completion of team documentation and engagement, to manage expectation.
- Through developed relationships, lead and report to management the identification and initial analysis of the needs and capabilities analysis, together with operating models, and technological needs of all business areas.
- Through cross-dept interfaces, participate in development of both organisational and IT strategic planning.
- Assist in facilitation of early engagement in the successful implementation of major business and technical projects using your technical expertise to influence and changes to a better utilisation of our technical systems and structures.
- Develop reports to present analysis of organisational trends, workloads, and anticipated technical requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry and technology trends and provide advice and guidance on the use of business applications and processes.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to provide the efficient, effective and innovative use of IT within their functions to increase income generation, and so improve our ability to impact the outcomes for children and young people.

- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrable understanding and application of diversity in the workplace.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and to distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Managing long term relationships with stakeholders or partners and developing common objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to provide confidence and credibility to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Commercial judgement and confidence to recommend options and improvements.
- Managing complex problems and driving them to a mutually agreeable outcome for all parties.
- Experienced with IT processes, organisational operations and change management and transforming business needs.
- Identifies and explores opportunities for continuous improvement ensuring the organisation derives maximum value.
- Understanding of technology and how it can drive business transformation.
- Line management of a team, including recruiting and developing.
- Demonstrable project management skills / qualifications (e.g. Prince2).
