ABOUT THE ROLE
BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGER – hybrid role with both office-based and homeworking
Up to £52,000 per annum dependent upon experience, plus 12% bonus scheme
This is an exciting new opportunity to join our IT team as Business Project Manager.
This role will be responsible for delivering a range of organisational and departmental change and innovation projects, on time and within budget, helping to shape the future of Center Parcs.
These projects will involve working closely with business leads, stakeholders and suppliers to scope, plan and deliver projects from definition through to closure; making sure key milestones are met and that actual or potential slippage is identified (time, scope, and budget).
To be successful in this role, you will ensure adherence to delivery framework and governance including risk management and project delivery methodologies. You will also ensure effective communication to business teams & stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills are required, along with a proven ability to support colleagues through change delivery.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, however dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest end time is 7pm.
Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based, homeworking and village visits.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
- Strong project management skills – including resource and budget responsibility
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to support colleagues through change delivery
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile project methodologies
- Previous experience within change delivery initiatives/projects
- Experience of supplier management
- Experience of delivering projects to a formal and established methodology, must have strong interpersonal skills for internal / vendor management at all levels
- Excellent communication skills
- Prioritisation and problem solving
Desirable requirements:
- Familiar with working in a formal Project Management Office (PMO)
- Agile or Prince2 accreditation
