Job role The Business Performance Analyst role in Global IT will be responsible for offering analytical and design support across the Enterprise Data Office (EDO) tower. They will be accountable for support and build of any existing tracking and reporting dashboards as well as looking at the performance status tracking and reporting across all services. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and attention to details, experience working with cross functional teams and a track record of timely and efficient delivery of data collation and analysis to enable reporting and recommendations. In addition they will be able to take the reporting requirements and build out the required dashboards to enable successful reporting and insight. The role will report directly to the Head of Business Operations and Transformation in IGNITE and dotted line into the Head of EDO and will be accountable for ensuring effective planning, tracking and reporting of our data processes, analysis of compliance and other service metrics and visualization of insights at portfolio level. Your role will be crucial in helping us make informed decisions and optimize our portfolio and operations based on data driven insights. Key accountabilities Work closely with EDO team members and partners to establish our approach to measuring and supervising the performance of our data processes, establishing key metrics, including compliance metrics and adoption of data standards and policies. Support EDO Leadership with documenting the use cases analytics and data map to identify macro data consumption patterns across AZ. Analyse trends and provide regular reporting to senior leaders, identifying potential risks and supporting with data driven recommendations. Collaborate with partner across SET Data offices to develop data metrics that show progress on data curation and data quality. Track and analyse demand levels for EDO IT, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and business objectives. Collect and consolidate data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness to support senior leadership with data driven insights. Conduct thorough data analysis and data modelling and apply visualization techniques to support senior management with performance reporting. Identify key insights from the data to support decision making and improve performance across services. Collaborate with other cross functional teams to define data requirements and establish data collection process with focus on accuracy, quality and reliability. Participate in ad hoc business case data requirements and provide insights to address specific challenges in our portfolio. Continuously work to improve team performance and productivity. Support the Head of EDO with design of outcomes and key results as well as status tracking and reporting. Support the Head of EDO with data insights to help drive an optimal operating model and alignment to key results. Provide input to data playbooks, presentations and others workstreams that require insights driven recommendations. Support any existing dashboards/ visualisations currently used by the teams Take requirements for new or enhancement of existing dashboards/ visualisations and work with the teams to build these out in an Agile way Required skills & experience Experience as performance or business analyst, working with cross functional teams and providing analytics support within a portfolio of services or programs of work. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate requirements into relevant insights. Proficiency in data analysis and ideally visualization tools. Familiarity with product delivery methodologies and agile ways of working. Well-developed communication and presentation skills, applied in a global environment. Attention to details and a strong commitment to data accuracy. Ability to work independently, as well as with teams, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Desirable Degree in relevant field or validated experience in data analysis practice. Good eye for business and understanding of data processes and performance metrics. Experience of working in a global organisation with sophisticated/geographical context. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, PowerBI.
