Purpose of the Role
To provide oversight and support to IAG Cargo operations across the IAG operating companies
regarding both its regulatory requirements and the standards of IAG Cargo. Supporting the business
to identify and address areas of non-compliance, reporting on compliance trends and working with
regulatory bodies to ensure IAG Cargo’s operations remain safe and secure.
Working across a combined IAG worldwide network of both insourced and outsourced operations.
Responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing management of safety and security
improvement initiatives across the regions. In conjunction with the business, identifies and leads a
team who project manages new opportunities across the network, which support IAGC’s operations
and commercial proposition. Providing oversight to the group of network performance through a
robust Management System.
Key Accountabilities
- Effective leadership of a team of UK and overseas based Compliance Managers
conducting start-up inspections and supporting contracted ground handling agent and
facility changes for the IAG Cargo network, to ensure compliance with EASA OPS and
ACC3 requirements, each operating companies’ policy and IAG Cargo’s own standards.
Where shortfalls are identified, agree appropriate recommendations for rectification with
key stakeholders and monitor to completion. - Provision of ongoing support and advice to the regions in fields of aviation security, health
& safety and quality management across all the IAG Operating Companies. - Supporting the IAG Cargo senior management team through the provision of multiple
frequently distributed performance reports containing key data as deemed required. - Production of clear and concise reports for various parts of the business giving oversight of
the effectiveness of the Management System. - Custodian of the IAGC Safety Group data set and responsibility for producing IAGC Safety
Group quarterly data packs, in addition to global non-conformance reporting. - Coordinating management of change and progressing continuous improvement.
