The International Heroes Programme
With the success of our first cohort, which we launched on 29th March, we are immensely proud to let you know we will be kicking off our 2nd cohort with a tentative date of 22nd May.
Fast forward a month, we have helped our candidates land 26 interviews and 3 job offers (with one candidate already in her new job!) - with many more job offers to come as 4 candidates have final stages in the next few weeks.
Our 2nd cohort will be much more tech-driven, where you will have access to our cutting-edge application tracker, where you can automate A LOT of the boring repetitive tasks (following up, tailoring CVs/cover letters, preparing for interviews, etc.).
How does it work?
- We handpick ambitious international students like yourself and work with you to optimise your CV, LinkedIn profile, and cover letters.
- We will then give you access to our cutting-edge AI-powered application tracker, where you can mass apply for roles to maximise your chances of landing an interview and automatically follow up with applications
- We then prepare you for interviews, online assessments, case study interviews, and assessment days.
- You have unlimited 1:1 support with the founders from Pakistan and Italy, who are both international students, that have cracked how to get prestigious jobs in the 7 years they have been in the UK
- Once you land a job offer, we then help you negotiate your salary and benefits for the role.
What do we look for?
Attitude: Are you humble, hungry, and willing to learn/improve? Do you handle constructive criticism well? Can you lift yourself back up quickly after receiving job rejections?
Aptitude: Are you a fast learner who adapts to new situations and solves problems effectively?
Work Ethic: Are you a hard worker? Are you willing to put in the necessary hours (at least 20 hours a week, ideally 40) and effort to secure a job as an international student despite the odds being against you?
Communication skills: Are you able to articulate ideas and communicate effectively within a UK-based work environment? Do you give clear and well-structured answers in English?
Spike: How do you stack up against 600k international students and UK graduates? What ability, skills, experiences, or achievements do you have that make you stand out? This could be anything from an elusive internship to starting a business at a young age.
We are sticking with our 'pay when you get hired' pricing model aligning our incentives with yours. Our program is free and you only pay a small fee when you land a job of your liking, which you start paying once you start receiving a salary.
