The Role
Support and enable the success of IAG Cargo’s multi-channel Distribution strategy by providing support to the Distribution team, global Commercial teams and Customers of the digital channels in a consistent and efficient manner.
Duties
- Delivery of Distribution business plan to contribute to IAGC financial plan targets
- Identify, agree and track core Distribution metrics including channel targets
- Responsible for implementing actions / initiatives that drive IAGCs digital performance.
- Manage 3rd party platform API integration – driving revenue through the platforms, management of the commercial activity and relationship with IAGC. In addition to contract negotiation, business case agreement, test system access and test AWB stock to enable external partners to connect with APIs
- Explore / develop innovative ways in which IAGC can do business with customers including new payment options, identifying online capability improvements (digital account management) and reducing churn.
- Manage the data feedback loops and work cross functionally to identify, prioritise and enable the successful resolution of channel issues, especially pricing & flown path issues
- Hold Regional Sales teams, GKA and BM teams to account for achieving the agreed Distribution targets and tracking outcomes, including identification of variance causal factors
- Work closely with Marketing to drive local marketing activities and promotions in order to deliver the Distribution targets
- Work with eBooking Support helping API and .com customers with issues while booking via these channels, including managing the lifecycle of issues which require a code or business process change, including testing of delivered changes.
- Maintain & update the Cost of Sale monthly tracker, identifying causes of change and propose cost mitigating actions
- Work closely with customers to enable their integration with IAG Cargo’s Distribution APIs
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to agree, introduce and promote industry standards for modern cargo distribution standards (e.g. IATA)
- Track and drive 3rd party partnership milestones & contractual obligations
- Manage the resolution of legacy Cyber security issues where these are identified
- Occasional Content Management activities on IAGCargo.com
- Produce effective professional presentations to present key trends and findings for a range of audiences
- Work cross functionally with the Business Management Global Support role in ensuring pricing and billing conformance

Qualifications
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
Experience
- Prior experience in a commercial / financial role
- Technically literate, with practical experience of delivering website projects
- Evidence of identification of areas of improvement and provision of creative solutions to benefit the customer
- Track record of delivering sustainable and significant change and reducing complexity
- Proven ability to deliver objectives on time and to budget through the use of planning tools
- Evidence of use of data to drive commercial decision-making
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively across functions, cultures and hierarchies
- Commercial and competitive awareness
- Experience of working with 3rd party suppliers
