We are looking for a highly organised Education Business Manager to provide effective business management supporting our busy programme of education and development activities. Working closely with the Deputy Director of Learning and OD and the Strategic Education Manager, the post holder will take responsibility for managing education funding, ensuring that there are robust processes to support continuing professional development workstreams. As well as managing the finances, the post holder will be a highly credible professional who can lead education projects working closely with clinical colleagues to benefit our staff and patients. Adept at developing education business plans, you will work in a highly collaborative way with internal and external stakeholders to analyse training needs, procure and deliver quality education provision to meet the current and future needs of the workforce.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape this new role and take an active role in the management of education in a high performing acute hospital Trust.
The post is full time, Monday to Friday, however applications for part time hours of 4 days (30 hours) or more will be considered. The post is based on site at East Surrey Hospital.
