Finance Business Partner (Escorting Services)
Location: Manston (willingness to travel frequently to operational sites is essential)
Here at Manston we are looking for The Finance Business Partner (FBP – Escorting Services) who will be directed by the SFBP and responsibilities will include supporting on the mobilisation of the new contract wins and supporting the financial reporting and forecasting process along with providing commercial support to the SFBP.
Key Requirements: The individual must have a detailed knowledge of the Mitie finance systems (especially Coupa, SAP, FDW and TM1) along with expert Excel skills. They must be a qualified accountant, with good technical skills, including a thorough understanding of the latest accounting standards along with excellent analytical skills and an ability to solve complex issues.
Your main duties will include, but not limited to:
- Work alongside the finance and operations teams to support in delivering the divisional objectives and strategy.
- Work closely with the Head of Operations and budget holders to provide high quality financial information to support decision making.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Produce the month end reporting (P & L, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with Group timetables and provide transparent contract finance reporting that will withstand management scrutiny/challenge.
- Own and update the Risks and Opportunities log for Escorting Services.
- Producing accurate accounting of accrued and deferred income monthly, with clear visibility and communication to the business on non-current debt.
Salary Range: is £50,000. Monday – Friday – 40hrs/per week.
