SportyMinis is a leading sports education company that specializes in developing physical development skills in toddlers and children. Our expert-guided lessons are designed to inspire and encourage children in sports, with a focus on the ABC's of physical development - Agility, Balance, and Coordination. Our teaching team make a real impact to the lives to all the children we teach; therefore, the successful candidate will need to be extremely professional, ambitious and love working with children.
We are looking for a Business Manager Intern to join our team and assist us in running our sports education business.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the company, including scheduling and logistics for events, managing inventory, and maintaining databases and records.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, including managing social media accounts, creating and distributing promotional materials, and conducting market research.
- Help manage the company's finances, including tracking expenses, preparing financial statements, and developing budgets.
- Identify potential new business opportunities, conduct research on competitors and industry trends, and help develop new partnerships and collaborations.
- Manage specific projects or initiatives, including coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, developing project plans, and monitoring progress towards goals.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
- Passion or interest in business for sports, fitness and education.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Remote working set up, with own phone and laptop
