The Business Intelligence & Analytics manager – Online Analytics will manage a team of analysts and report developers and provide the bridge between the ONLINE area of our business and the application specialists, responsible for delivering various reporting content and business analysis to the business stakeholders. Whether it be understanding website behaviour, traffic and conversion or providing insights on media campaigns this role will be responsible for providing the necessary clarity for the business to take timely actions to drive online sales achievement.
A key requirement of the role is to ensure all reporting and the accompanying business analysis is accurate and delivered in a timely manner to bring maximum benefit to the business. To achieve this the DX Online Analytics Manager will be required to provide stakeholder management to the Online business, understand their requirements and manage and agree prioritisation of business requests. The DX Online Analytics Manager is also expected to be a key member of the SEU Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence, possessing strong Power BI technical acumen and being an advocate of best practice ways of working.
You will:
  • Liaise with variety of senior business stakeholders to understand the Online priorities and manage the demand pipeline and requirements from the business.
  • Design, build and manage reports relating to Online Market and e-tail / dealer online stores such as Market share, Sales, Stock, Online Shop-Front Data, Customer Reviews & Ratings, Search / Keyword Advertising, and other online related data.
  • Analyse key business performance metrics and support business stakeholders to provide intelligence to take actions.
  • Coordinate with internal report development teams to align on priorities, timelines and requirements to best guarantee products are delivered to time and exceed customer expectations.
  • Communicate to the business changes and developments in analytics processes and implement where appropriate new technologies and ways of working.
  • Ensure all products, whether developed personally or by a third party adhere to company development standards and undergo any necessary QA checks and processes.
  • Use advanced BI tool capabilities to develop intuitive reporting that can quickly highlight areas that require the business team’s attention (stock out / sales performance vs budget etc.)
  • Ensure that data quality and governance are positive contributors to stakeholders’ processes.
You will bring:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in web analytics and e-commerce roles.
  • Ability to get inspired by developing powerful data visualisations and storytelling using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI with a high level of technical competence.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, with highly numerate and analytical, commercially astute skills.
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills with a strong ability to prioritise.
  • Capability to manage performance directly and indirectly.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively and influentially both verbally & in writing.
  • A keen tech insight and passion for technology.
