Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

We’re now looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join us, adding to our pool of knowledge and delivering great results for our clients.

The Role

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, you’ll help our BI customers transform their business by capturing data and turning it into actionable insights.

Liaising with our internal and external customers, you’ll uncover their business needs and turn complex data into clear and easy to understand results which will improve their processes and deliver success.

Working as part of an agile team, you’ll generate, edit, support and troubleshoot data reports and dashboards whilst providing BI and MI reporting to our large customer base and monitoring and maintaining our KPIs.

So, if you have basic SQL and PowerBI experience and a relevant degree, qualification or experience, this is your chance to get on board with an ambitious and successful business as we push on making a big impact in our industry sector.

To join us as a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, you will need:

  • Power BI experience
  • Basic SQL experience
  • A working knowledge of analytics
  • A passion for problem-solving using data
  • Strong client-facing and Excel skills
  • To be enthusiastic and excited about being involved with new technologies
  • Excellent attention to detail and to be highly organised
  • A relevant degree, equivalent qualification or relevant experience
  • GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent

Experience of working for an IT Managed Service Provider or in a BI role would be beneficial to your application, as would the ability to write and review T-SQL queries and understand relational database design.

Experience of developing Power BI reports using Power BI desktop or an equivalent report writing application would also be advantageous, as would knowledge and/or experience of Power BI Gateways and Datasets.
