What you'll do:
BISOs are responsible for assessing and handling the cyber security risk for the allocated business unit and will ensure that Sky Group’s cyber security risk appetite and compliance obligations are understood and embedded within the business unit. Their purpose is to provide effective engagement and strategic alignment between functions ensuring that cyber security and compliance are considered by all key disciplines.
- Assist the BISO in deep dive analysis of specific cyber security controls as needed (e.g. architecture & design, vulnerability management, programme delivery, education & awareness, risk assessment, policy compliance, etc.).
- Attend business meetings on behalf of the BISO to improve cyber security presence in the business area, and early awareness of upcoming projects, initiatives, changes in the business unit.
- Support the tracking of day-to-day cyber security roadmap elements within the business unit.
- Assist driving robust compliance to internal and external regulatory and audit obligations across the business unit.
- Support the creation of metrics and reporting.
- Provide general support to the business unit to understand cyber security in general.
- More generally represent the BISO in various initiatives, projects, events, and be a “go-to” person for Cyber Security advice and guidance.
- Learn about relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. TSA, PCI).
What you'll bring:
- Must display expertise in one of the following: Windows environments, Unix environments, Public Cloud, Networks, Virtualisation or Cyber security. A technical background, is required in order to have conversations with relevant technical teams.
- Good understanding of a cyber or information security framework (e.g. ISO27001, NIST, SANS, CIS 20, CAF…) · is a plus but not necessary, as this can be part of the candidate’s learning path.
- Must have a flexible approach to the types of work assigned and a strong desire to learn and progress.
- Good communicator, Organised, and great attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-motivated and excellent teammate.
Team overview
As a BISO analyst, you will report directly into a BISO, aligned to a specific business unit. We are currently recruiting BISO analysts for 4 business units:
- Broadcast; i.e. Content protection, Broadcasting tech, AdTech, etc. (CBP),
- Corporate; i.e. HR, Finance, Legal & supporting enterprise technology teams (GETS),
- Customer group; i.e. Customer identity, Contact centres, Home engineers, etc (CSG),
- Network & Infra; i.e. Telco environment, Cloud, Infrastructure, B2B & Mobile (C&I).
