Business Development Manager - Sainsbury's
Slough
As our Business Development Manager for Sainsbury's, you will support the Sainsbury’s Account team in the daily management of these customers with a keen focus on the Online and Own label businesses. The role will be a combination of office-based and working from home, within the Sainsbury’s / Waitrose team and reporting directly to the Sainsbury’s Business Account Manager.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the Sainsbury’s BAM in the delivery of the full Joint Business Plans for KP snacks
- Actively participate in the delivery of perfect store objectives in relation to range, space and feature
- Lead the promotional planning cycle including communication with Sainsbury’s commercial and supply planning teams
- Key internal and external contact for promo forecasting, funding and invoice queries. Working closely with our finance business partner
- Manage the P&L, planning and implementation for Sainsbury’s online annual plan. Working closely with the Shopper Marketing Manager and external agencies
- Close collaboration with demand planning and customer service teams to ensure an accurate customer demand signal is fed into our factories
- Report sales performance and manage internal systems and processes to ensure all are adhered to
- Track and report on successful launches of NPD across customers
- Management of the Sainsbury’s Own Label business working cross-functionally with internal Retailer Brands team and wider Sainsbury’s Technical teams
- Owning the KP Christmas plan within Sainsbury’s, covering Branded and Own Label business

Essential skills and experience
- Previous FMCG sales experience
- An entrepreneurial thinker who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Collaborative work style with strong customer focus
- Great organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence and ability to develop and present compelling sales presentations
- PC Literate: experienced user of Excel / PowerPoint
