JOB PURPOSE

Leversedge Telecoms Services are looking for a sales professional to amalgamate the responsibilities of account management and new business generation. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for proactively managing and supporting Leversedge’s existing customers and winning new business by effectively demonstrating the ways in which Leversedge can support prospective clients to benefit their business needs. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with decision makers and identifying opportunities for cross and up-selling.

The Business Development Manager will engage in a variety of tasks including project management, coordination, strategic planning, relationship management, negotiation, leadership and innovative development of opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Identify opportunities to sell PBR, radio, CVIT, CCTV and pharmaceutical products into new and existing customers.

· Regularly meet with existing customers to build relationships, provide account reviews and identify opportunities to grow business within existing clients, ensuring outstanding customer service is maintained and encouraging referrals.

· Carry out customer evaluations in order to identify appropriate solutions and manage the sales process from pre-sale to installation, coordinating with colleagues to ensure consistent service delivery.

· Manage a healthy pipeline, producing accurate forecasts and generating new business from multiple streams to achieve set KPIs.

ABOUT YOU

Essential:

· You will have experience and a proven track record of business development, account management or sales, preferably field based.

· You will have a passion for sales with a strong customer focus and be a quick learner who has the ability to adapt to new technologies.

· You will be a confident and influential communicator with a well presented, positive, proactive and professional approach.

· You will have the ability to establish and earn trust from your customers, demonstrating concern for the success of their business and actively listening to identify customer needs and propose solutions to benefit the customer.

· You will have effective time management, organisation and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple requests, orders, appointments and projects.

· You will have a full, clean, UK driving license with the ability to travel and the flexibility to attend appointments and meetings outside of normal working hours as and when required, including occasional overnight stays where necessary.
